Transportation From San Jose to Tortuguero Costa Rica
Tortuguero Transfer
This enchanted and secluded park is the save heaven of many different species of while life not only native of Costa Rica, but to the Americas.
Travelling through the come waters of the hidden lagoons and channels as the flowering vine covered trees blend in with their own water reflection we will have the unique experience of observing as close as possible several species of flora and fauna.
It is easy to observe several species of crocodiles, tucan, monkeys, slots, macaws, iguanas and some others.
Tortuguero is considered the most important nesting site on the western half of the caribbean for the green turtle that comes to the beach to nest every year. Other species of sea turtles also nest along the park´s long beach stretch every year.
Tortuguero Transportation
• Park entrance ($10) and turtle nesting ($25) not included. Please use dark clothes for this tour. Is not allow more than 10 pounds of luggage per person for every tour.
3:00 pm At this time we will take you to the museum of Tortuguero and to the Town of Tortuguero for a walking tour ($1 optional).
5:00 pm Back at the hotel you will have time to relax before dinner, which will be served at 7.00 p.m.
8:00 pm After dinner, your tour guide will explain the next optional activity ($25), "the night tour", which consists of a boat trip to Tortuguero National Park and then walk on the beach to observe the nesting of the Giant Green Sea Turtle (only from July to October).
Next day
8:00 am Check out (bring your luggage with you). Your tour guide will take you by boat to one of the most enchanting sites in the region: TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK, where you will explore the lagoons and hidden canals. There trees tower nearly 50 meters tall, covered with bromeliads, vines and orchids and an array of wildlife can be spotted in the foliage.
10:30 am. We will enjoy a walk to the rain forest.
12:00 pm Lunch.
1:30 pm Departure to San José.
WHAT TO BRING: Hat, light clothes and covered shoes. Rain gear: Mosquito repellent, for the walk only. Do not forget your camera and film.
NOT INCLUDED: Park entrance, alcoholic beverage, soft drinks, tipping and turtle nesting night tour (only from July to October).
Bed & Breakfast package does not include dinner or lunch
For the better enjoyment of the tour we will change itinerary in case of bad weather, road or river conditions.

I will soon be there
After a bit more than a week out of the paradise running so errands in the capital city of Costa Rica I'm more than ready to go back and keep singing in paradise.
SO TO YOU ALL Give my regards to Tortuguero tell all the gang in La Baula lodge that I will soon be there.
PD: New point of sale system is ready so next week I'm installing the new state of the art POS. After all There's technology in paradise too.

De Vuelta
hola que tal, amigos los saludamos nuevamente desde el paraiso e la Baula Lodge de Tortuguero en el Parque Nacional Tortuguero, donde nuevamente hoy al fin nuevamente volvimos a ver el sol luego de casi 2 semanas, pero bueno se dice que cuando llueve es que Dios esta regando las plantas, pero yo pienso que esta vez se puso en otro asunto y dejo la manguera abierta jajajaja, pero de igual manera los turistas que tuvimos durante estos dias disfrutaron de las bellezas de mi hogar a pesar del agua, hoy con el sol de vuelta lo que queda es secar la ropa y todo lo que se nos mojo, y esperar a las proximas lluvias....saludos desde la Baula, los esperamos

Otro día perfecto en el Caribe
Por la tarde el sol salió y calentó los ánimos de nuevo, tanto así que decidimos salir de nuevo a caminar, ésta vez lo hicimos en el sendero frente al hotel, ahi de nuevo quedamos asombrados de la cantidad de animales que tuvimos la fortuna de encontrar, un perezoso de 3 dedos comía frente a nosotros, ranas de ojos rojos, aves de mar, iguanas, arañas y un sin fin de plantas con flores de todos tipos y colores.
Luego para terminar con tan única experiencia decidimos caminar por la playa, colectar semillas y ver uno que otro rastro de alguna tortuga que estuvo desovando la noche anterior...
Personalmente ha sido uno de mis mejores días aquí, la pareja que estuvo conmigo en los tours está convencida de haber encontrado el lugar mas lindo del mundo, para mi es un placer ver la alegría en los rostros de la gente que nos visita y quienes se llevan los mejores recuerdos de Costa Rica....
